The Construction Industry
The government’s announcement a second lockdown on Saturday 31st October is a reminder of the very serious situation in which the country finds itself, and of the massive impact that this will have on people and the economy.
Following the announcement, the Construction Leadership Council met the following day and have confirmed that the Construction industry, including Merchants and Manufacturing, are to remain open throughout the national lockdown.
It has been previously demonstrated that the entire industry depends on the flow of money and materials, and that it is essential that product manufacturers, builders merchants and distributors keep operating so that we have the materials to build and repair our nations homes, hospitals and vital infrastructure.
What does this mean for Resapol?
At Resapol we understand the need to keep providing construction chemicals to continue to maintain the houses, hospitals, and other vital infrastructure that people depend on, and we all recognise the importance of keeping construction and the economy going, for now and for our future recovery.
During the pandemic Resapol have demonstrated that a wide range of construction chemicals can be collected and delivered safely – for our staff members and the general public around us. As an industry leader we have a huge responsibility to do the very best that we can at this very difficult time, to ensure sites nationally can be serviced safely and with ease.
This means that during this second lockdown Resapol will continue to operate with our additional safety protocols in place – bringing our customers situated across the UK deliveries of our wide range of essential construction chemicals.
Thank-you once again for your patience and understanding during these difficult times.
