Technical Characteristics :

Idrostop B25 is a water-stop material composed of a mix of natural sodium bentonite and polymers which give the product exceptional properties of compactness flexibility and stability and is produced according to a formula developed in MAPEI’s own Research & Development laboratories. The material’s expanding process takes place in a controlled gradual and uniform way without the risk of altering the balance of the mix.
After expanding upon contact with water Idrostop B25 adapts perfectly to the volume defined by the surrounding boundaries. Thanks to this property it offers a perfect seal between the second pour of concrete. Idrostop B25 is able to perfectly seal the formation of localised honeycomb voids which are present in the concrete. Idrostop B25 is available in 10 m rolls with a cross section of 20×25 mm.
