At Resapol, we believe that strong performance is built on consistency, attention to detail, and teamwork across every part of the business. Our annual Branch of the Year competition was designed to recognise this.
Over the past 12 months, branches across the business took part in a structured performance challenge that measured success across several key operational areas. The competition not only highlighted excellence, but also encourages engagement, accountability, and friendly rivalry across our teams.
How the Branch of the Year Competition Works
Each Resapol branch received individual scores for their performance across five core business functions:
- Sales
- Marketing
- Procurement
- ISO compliance
- Accounts
We carefully assessed performance in each category and combined the results into a total score for every branch. This total score determined the overall winner, ensuring the outcome reflected consistent performance rather than isolated success.
The Aims Behind the Competition
The competition has two clear objectives.
First, we wanted to provide extra motivation around tasks that are often seen as routine or less exciting. While some of these activities may be labelled as “mundane,” they play a critical role in maintaining standards, compliance, and long-term business success. By shining a spotlight on these areas, we reinforced their importance and encouraged greater care and effort.
Second, the competition aimed to promote friendly competition between Resapol branches. By recognising and rewarding high performance, we created a positive environment where teams could benchmark themselves against others, share best practice, and take pride in their achievements.

Stockton secured their very first and thoroughly well-deserved win. They delivered strong, consistent results across all assessed areas, demonstrating an impressive balance of operational excellence, compliance, and teamwork throughout the year.
Stockton set the standard for 2025.
We would also like to give a special mention to 2nd place Southampton and 3rd place London – a fantastic effort from everyone.
