The Resapol Foundation has further demonstrated its ongoing commitment to supporting health-related causes. This time with a £1,000 donation to Crohn’s & Colitis UK.
Who are Crohn’s & Colitis UK?
Crohn’s & Colitis UK is the leading charity dedicated to supporting the hundreds of thousands of people in the UK living with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. These are two forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Founded in 1979, the charity works tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected by these chronic, often invisible conditions through information, advocacy, research, and support. Whether someone is newly diagnosed, managing flare-ups, or seeking guidance on daily challenges, Crohn’s & Colitis UK offers expert advice, a strong community, and a powerful voice campaigning for better healthcare and greater public understanding. Their mission is to drive change so that everyone with Crohn’s or Colitis can live freer, fuller lives.

Why did the Foundation choose them?
Tim Absolom, Regional Sales Manager for Resapol and the chosen Head Office Ambassador detailed why he picked this particular charity.
“Both my partner Hannah and my brother David suffer with various forms of Crohn’s disease so I see the debilitating effect it can have on sufferers every day. Although there is no guaranteed cure, the charity are at the forefront of awareness when it comes to new drugs and treatments. In addition, they highlight in their magazine and on their website how people affected can still live a full and rewarding life.
This I know from first-hand experience as Hannah has tried many treatments over her 30-year illness. We are pleased to say that the current medication seems to be having a positive result on her day-to-day wellbeing.”
How will they utilise the donation?
The £1,000 donation from the Resapol Foundation will be used to help support people in the UK living with this illness.
“There are more than half a million people in the UK living with Crohn’s and Colitis, with 25,000 more diagnosed every year. We are here to support them, raise awareness of the conditions and fund vital research into a cure. Finding out you have Inflammatory Bowel Disease turns your life upside down. We are here for everyone affected by Crohn’s and Colitis and we know our work makes a real difference, but we simply wouldn’t be able to do it without our incredible fundraisers. We are so grateful for their support because donations like these change lives.”
