Bostik SL C955 ADVANCED is a high performance, two-part cementitious underlayment which offers excellent adhesion on most subfloors without priming. It is particularly suitable for use over old adhesive residues (including bitumen and carpet tile tackifiers). Bostik SL C955 ADVANCED smooths and levels subfloors prior to installing all types of floor coverings. It is ideal for use where low-odour products are required. It can be applied over most common substrates including old bitumen, concrete subfloors, sand/cement screeds, stone, calcium sulphate-based screeds, mastic asphalt, rigid metal and firmly bonded unglazed ceramic, terrazzo & quarry tiles (take care to degrease and prepare surface). It may also be used over sound, firmly bonded timber flooring such as flooring grade plywood and P5 chipboard, provided the timber is mechanically fixed. It is not suitable for use over existing vinyl, rubber, linoleum, cork or moisture sensitive floor coverings. Bostik SL C955 ADVANCED is ideal for refurbishment projects and may be applied onto firmly bonded thermoplastic tiles which have been installed on bituminous adhesives. Tiles must be stable, clean and degreased. Due to its high adhesion and low shrinkage properties, it can be used without a primer onto most substrates in both domestic and commercial locations. It is suitable for use with warm water and electrical radiant underfloor heating systems, provided a surface temperature of +27°C is not exceeded. It is not to be used as a wearing surface and should always be covered with a floor covering. For interior use only.
