The XTCB profile is specifically developed to be placed centrally within concrete wall and floor joints, incorporating a eyelet edge flange which enables them to be wired and positioned to the surrounding reinforcement. These waterstops are positioned within the thickness of concrete components and as a result are supported by concrete on both sides. They are therefore able to withstand water pressure from either side. This makes them suitable for use in water retaining structures. They will prevent loss of water from within the tank and will prevent ingress of ground water when the tank is drained down. With its unique rib and end bulb profiles the XTCB provides a totally effective barrier in vertical and horizontal joints. The XTCB also has a central bulb to accommodate the movement in expansion joints and the support of the joint filler board.
