Description:

Watco Oil Block Primer is a two part, epoxy primer specially developed to aidadhesion to porous floor surfaces that have become soaked with oil. It is suitable for concrete, brick and masonry and it will also work on timber surfaces. It is not suitable for use on non porous, previously painted surfaces or metal surfaces. Grease and oil should be removed from the surface of a floor before priming, using a degreaser. The Watco Oil Block Primer then works by penetrating the surface with solvent; this will seal in soaked-in oil contamination and also helps to bind together weaker surfaces. Watco Oil Block Primer is intended for mineral oil residues such as motor oil or cutting oils. It is not usually suitable for vegetable, animal or synthetic oil residues. Watco Oil Block Primer is intended to be overpainted with epoxy floor coatings but it can be used with many types of floor coatings.
