Project Outline
GA Evans Roofing was approached by a company in the North East to rejuvenate their aging flat roof. Approximately 300m² of the roof was in poor condition, exhibiting various leaks and deformities.
The contractor, a regular customer of Resapol, requested a quotation for the necessary work and successfully secured the project with their client. The materials were subsequently purchased from Resapol Stockton and were installed over the following weeks.
GA Evans Roofing Contractors is a local business that has relied on Resapol for their material supplies for several years.
The Solution
The flat roof was thoroughly cleaned, and all old debris was meticulously removed to ensure a clean working environment. The outdated air conditioning units, which had been in place for many years, were carefully dismantled and taken out. Once these preliminary steps were completed, the surface was methodically prepared to create an optimal base for the application of the Sikalastic Roof Pro D-10 system.
The preparation process began with the application of a high-quality Sikalastic Metal Primer N (for the metallic areas). Following this, two layers of the advanced Sikalastic Roof Pro D-10 were applied. To enhance the system’s durability and effectiveness, Sikalastic Reemat Premium, a robust reinforcing material, was added between the two coats.
When the entire Sikalastic Roof Pro system is applied correctly, it performs exceptionally well, providing a reliable and long-lasting roofing solution. The combination of these materials ensures a seamless and durable finish, capable of withstanding various weather conditions and extending the roof’s lifespan significantly.
