Keim Silan Primer is a water repellent silane based primer for use with Keim Mineral Paint Systems.

Field of Application :

Keim Silan Primer is a hydrophobic impregnation (water repellent) for mineral substrates with the ability to resist the passage of some waterborne salts.

Product Properties :

Keim Silan Primer penetrates into the pores and any hairline cracks of mineral building materials. After evaporation of the solvent, the active component is deposited on the walls of the pore and, once subsequently coated with a Keim
Mineral paint system develops water repellent characteristics. Keim Silan Primer does not seal the pores of the building material, ensuring that the water vapour permeability of the substrate remains virtually unchanged.
