MaxLite is a Ultra Lightweight no Fines concrete. That means the mix only uses lightweight engineered aggregate and cement (no sand). This results in an open pore concrete which is
extremely lightweight (600kg/m3 +/-). Because of this the concrete has several unique properties. It is permeable which makes it a perfect sub layer for driveways and paths allowing drainage to
happen. It is also a great insulator of heat and noise (10x more than traditional concrete) which means it can be used in older buildings as an insulating layer within old wooden beam. It is also
very lightweight so can be used as a concrete layer on any building needing to extend or level off an existing concrete base.
