SureSet is a flexible resin bound aggregate surfacing system designed to provide a hard wearing, durable, and aesthetically pleasing surface treatment to a variety of substrates. It can be formulated using a range of aggregates of different colours, shapes, and sizes depending on the customer’s requirements and the anticipated use.
SureSet has many advantages over other resin-based products. It cures rapidly
providing more flexibility in programming, allowing the surface to be re-opened for full use very rapidly and minimising any access problems. It can be laid in temperatures as low as 0°C on a rising thermometer (at a slower curing rate) and shows good adhesion to most substrates when used in conjunction with a priming system. It is laid in a thin layer thickness (typically 18mm) thereby reducing the amount of preparation required to tie in with existing levels etc.
SureSet can be laid on a variety of substrates for a range of pedestrian and vehicular uses. It can be laid on ramps when anti slip aggregates can be included in its formulation for increased slip resistance.
