Description:

rbs Tanking Membrane Primer is a low viscosity one-part bituminous solution for brush or spray application. The solution designed to aid adhesion to the substrate is specially formulated to be a compatible with the logco range of self adhesive gas resistant water and vapour proof membranes.

Features:

•  Surfaces should be clean and free from all oil grease dirt dust and loose debris.
•  On metal surfaces all loose rust must be removed by wire brushing and where advanced signs of corrosion are evident these areas should initially be treated with a rust remover/inhibitor.
•  Surfaces should be clean and dry however rbs Tanking Membrane Primer will adhere to damp but not wet surfaces.
•  Apply by brush or spray evenly in one generous coating.
•  rbs Tanking Membrane Primer is resistant to rainfall within 20 – 30 minutes of its application.

N.B. In order to comply with BS8217: 1994 it is essential that after priming concrete or screeded surfaces the coating is completely free of all solvent and thus a safe drying margin of 2 hours should be allowed.
