Description :

Seamsil Sealant is a gun applied single component RTV Alkoxy silicone.

Uses :

• Used in conjunction with the Delcote and Delglaze systems for the sealing of panel and rooflight overlaps prior to coating and the sealing of bolt heads to provide a stable substrate
• Used in conjunction with Seamsil Base and Top Coat, the Sealant forms an integral part of the Seamsil remedial lap joint treatment specified by most leading authorities for the repair and prevention of cut edge and lap joint corrosion in existing PVC Plastisol and Pvf2 clad buildings.

Characteristics/Advantages :

• Particularly effective when used as a primary or secondary seal in lap joints on PVC Plastisol or Pvf2 coated profiled cladding sheets to prevent the ingress of acid rainwater and pollution into corrosion sensitive areas
• Extremely flexible and lightweight
• Remains relatively unchanged over a wide temperature range and can be used throughout the year
• Seamsil Sealant has excellent weathering characteristics, being unaffected by UV and extremes of weather and temperature.
