Description:

Alpha S 2000 is a high performance, two-part solvent-based adhesive based on polychloroprene rubber that has been specifically formulated to meet the requirements for the DEF STAN 80-106/1. It also gives compliance to the following standards: ‘C’ Craft Inflatable Boats, Department of Trade & Industry for use on B.O.T.I. Craft, MoD (Admiralty) for use on Gemini Inflatable Boats.
Alpha S 2000 has been formulated to give good adhesion to a variety of natural and synthetic rubber surfaces such as natural rubber, neoprene, polyurethane and polyamides. It can also be used on rigid surfaces such as wood, metals and laminated plastics. It can be used in service over a wide temperature and humidity range with good resistance to atmospheric oxidation, salt water, oil, mild acids and mild alkalis.
