Description :

Low-viscosity hydrophilic acrylic resin, ideal for injection waterproofing of soils and underground structures. It offers excellent flexibility and adhesion properties and is specifically formulated to accommodate volumetric variations caused by the shrinkage and expansion of cracks and voids due to thermal fluctuations. The gel time
can be adjusted over a wide range to meet specific application requirements.

Technical Characteristics :

Mapegel E/100 is a hydrophilic gel based on acrylates, consisting of 3 components:

• Component 1 = acrylic polymer in aqueous solution
• Component 2 = hardener in aqueous solution
• Component 3 = accelerating salt in powder form

The formulation of Mapegel E/100 allows the addition of an optional fourth component:

• Component 4 = acrylic polymer
• Component 4 is used in case of injection into dry soils or structures not subject to the presence of water, in order to improve the performance of the final mixture under wet/dry alternation conditions.
• In particular, component 4 increases adhesion of the mixture to the substrate, a particularly useful feature in the presence of structures subject to relative movement.
• Component 4 can be dosed up to a maximum of 20% replacing water.
• Thanks to its low viscosity, Mapegel E/100 can easily penetrate into microporosities and small cracks, sealing them perfectly.
• After hardening, Mapegel E/100 has high elasticity, adhesion, impermeability, and excellent chemical
